My love, my sheild.
You say that you're lost- wandering
Alone and Confused.
How could I do it?
How could I hurt you?
Let me first say that I did not intend to.
I broke my promise-
I broke our hearts
And now it seems as though we are worlds apart.
Not a day goes by without a passing thought
Memories stain my vision, my eyes
Cloudy and bloodshot.
Tears fall to the floor now and then
When I think about what Could have been
Our Future has shattered, our hearts now lay tattered
Blood seeps into cracks
Because of a knife to the back.

A wolf wanders along the ridge
Alone in the vast wood.
Her compainion gone, her life has changed
SHe carries on to make her way.
Alone once more in Spirit and Mind
The pact once made no longer binds.
A thorn in her paw, she limps on
Her heart may be broken but she is strong.
She pads softly along her path,
Trying to survive the aftermath.
Her mate is gone; she climbs her hill
Puts her head towards Orion, howls her song and catches chill,
Ruffles her fur and settles down,
The world around her is eerie without sound.
One day, she'll learn to love again-
But she'll Never forget that once cozy den.
